Pamela Anderson‘s transition to a more natural beauty routine “horrified” her two sons as she has been challenging industry norms. While embracing authenticity and self-sufficiency, the blonde bombshell has been marking a significant shift from her hyper-femme image of the past. A public relations expert has analyzed her transition.
- Pamela Anderson’s new natural beauty routine “horrified” her sons.
- She has shifted from Hollywood glam to embracing homemade skincare like rose oil.
- A PR expert said Pamela’s successful public repositioning underscored the challenges of ageism in the entertainment industry and the importance of authenticity in personal branding.
In a new exposé of her life, published on Highsnobiety last month, the Baywatch babe shed light on her personality, declaring she was, in fact, a “tomboy.”
“I was actually always a tomboy growing up,” she confessed.
She continued: “I never wanted to wear a dress. I was athletic. I made mud pies.”

The 56-year-old actress has made a series of public appearances in makeup-free looks, debuting her new natural signature style during last year’s fashion weeks.
Pamela has also left the glitz and glam of Hollywood for her grandmother’s rustic house in Vancouver Island, Canada, which she often showcases on social media.
Her “more natural” beauty routine, she explained to the publication, is something she’s “harvested.”

Pamela explained: “I make rose oil, which I do with rose hips.
“I’m interested in my Epsom salts, olive oils, and shea butter.”
The Canadian native reportedly called her recent hiatus from the extravagant showbiz lifestyle a “healing experience.”

Nevertheless, the Barb Wire star’s transformation has been a process that didn’t appear to be easily accepted by her entourage.
She recalled: “My boys were like, ‘Mom, you must have a glam team.’
“And my agents were like, ‘You have to have a glam team! Where’s the stylist?’
“I go, ‘I know how to put a dress on myself. I don’t need someone buttoning up my blouse.
“‘I got this.’ And they were just horrified.”

Pamela had her two sons, Brandon Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger Lee, with her ex-husband, musician Tommy Lee.
Brandon was born on June 6, 1996, in Los Angeles, California, while Dylan was born on December 29, 1997, also in Los Angeles.
Pamela and Tommy Lee’s relationship, which began in the mid-1990s, was highly publicized and marked by numerous ups and downs. They eventually divorced in 1998.

According to James Crawford, managing director of the award-winning PR Agency One, Pamela’s efforts to reposition herself are to be applauded, especially in the context of the entertainment business, which is “very arguably ageist towards women”.
“Few people are afforded the chance to reinvent themselves and do so publicly and successfully,” James told Bored Panda in an email. “She has repositioned herself through great skill, hard work, and probably some really good professional advisors too.”
The PR expert further explained: “Like all good ‘rebrands’ they need to be based on truths and values, or they soon fall apart.
“Pamela Anderson’s story is a powerful lesson in the dangers of typecasting individuals based on limited information or exposure.
“Her evolution, underpinned by her Canadian upbringing, illustrates a deliberate and authentic journey back to her roots, underscoring the multifaceted nature of individuals who often are seen through a singular lens.”
“She looks like herself,” a reader commented
